We're thrilled to present this stunning Ducati 899 Panigale, a bike that requires little by way of introduction. In many respects a better and more accessible bike than the larger capacity 1199/1299 and purer than the later 959, the 899 is widely accepted as a 'truly great' bike - often referred to in the same breath as icons like the Suzuki GSXR 750. A modern classic in waiting.
 
And what's not to love? 
 
Beautiful proportions. That thumping superquadro twin. Decent electronics, and superb build quality. It blends friendliness, character, speed, poise and comfort like almost nothing else. Indeed, MCN ran a Ducati 899 Panigale on their long-term fleet, pronouncing it 'an unutterably joyous experience'. It was so good, then Editor Richard Newland called it one of his "best bikes of all time". High praise. 
 
Now this particular bike is really rather special in our opinion. Not only is it in really lovely cosmetic condition, having been PPF'd from new, it benefits from two important (and very expensive) options: the full Termignoni exhaust, and the simply delicious BST carbon wheels (£2K), sharpening the already fabulous handling. A smattering of other high quality parts, such as the nearly new Pirelli SuperCorsa tyres, EvoTech tail tidy and radiator guards, R&G fork and swingarm protectors, Talon rear sprocket, and Zero Gravity screen complete a seriously attractive package.  
 
Cared for by just two private owners since being supplied by Ducati Leeds in May 2015, the bike has now covered 10,248 miles, and is accompanied by a comprehensive service history (set out below). Before leaving us, the bike will undergo an MOT and interim service, with all fluids changed for peace of mind. Supplied with original document pack, and toolkit.
