We're thrilled to offer this remarkable Ducati 999R, number 0110 and currently registering just 433 miles on the odometer. Sourced from a private collection, it is quite possibly one of the lowest mileage examples anywhere in the world, and is presented in fabulous condition.
 
The once maligned 999 has come of age in recent years, now rightly appreciated for the leap forward it represented over the Tamburini-era bikes. In standard trim, the 999 is a capable, characterful and satisfying modern classic. The homologation-spec 999R takes that recipe, and dials it right up, delivering considerably more performance and exclusivity. Dripping in WSB provenance, and with looks that continue to age brilliantly, the 999R is fully deserving of its place alongside some of its more celebrated sisters, such as the 998R, and 916 SPS.
 
This particular bike is an early MY03 UK bike, delivered in April 2003 by Ducati Aylesbury. There were approximately 795 999Rs produced that year (according to Ducati), with fewer than 60 'officially' making their way to the UK. These early bikes are particuarly sought after, and 0110 is a reference example.
 
Under the care of 3 fastidious owners from new, the bike is in unblemished original condition, having been dry stored for all of its life. Those 433 miles were completed before 2012, and it has been carefully tucked away ever since. Under its most recent custodian, the bike has been periodically started, and warmed to temperature.

Cosmetic condition:
 
Incredibly clean, from top to bottom. All of the paintwork is in beautiful condition, and maintains a deep gloss throughout. Likewise, all carbon parts are in superb condition. There are minimal marks to any of the frame, or parts like the engine and clutch covers. The tank, and rider contact areas are all largely free from any imperfections, and the seat remains unblemished. 
 
Mechanical condition:
 
Mechanically, the appears to be in very good condition. It has been periodically started, and kept on an Optimiser. Please note: given the miles and rarity, we have not ridden this bike.
