We're delighted to present this beautiful 6,624 mile example of BMW's fascinating HP2 Sport - pure Bavarian exotica, and in our opinion the most interesting of the modern BMWs.
 
Jewel-like from any angle, and with attention to detail that puts many Italian bikes in the shade, the HP2 Sport is a marvellous, batsh*t creation, from a time when BMW Motorrad were really beginning to stretch their imaginations. We've all become somewhat desensitised to carbon-clad BMW sportsbikes these days, but back when this thing was launched, it was a significant shift in gears from a brand better known for its' rather dull touring and adventure bikes.
 
This particular machine, sourced from a private collection of modern sportsbikes, is in truly excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. First registered in September 2009 and supplied by Cooper Tunbridge Wells to it's first owner, it has since been carefully maintained by 2 further owners, and clearly cherished, with 4 services recorded (the last being in Feb 2024). Tyres are essentially brand new, whilst the rest of the bike is precisely as it left the factory in 2009 - save for a beautiful Ilmberger carbon hugger and final drive cover. This bike also benefits from switchable ABS, which was an expensive (and rarely specified) option. 
 
Although not technically limited in its production, not that many HP2 Sports were produced - mainly due to their high price tag, and the onset of the financial crisis. If you like an air-cooled boxer engine and want to turn heads, the HP2 Sport is a sublime machine in so many ways. A very special bit of kit, on the button and ready to go.
